A space for academic excellence
The University of Vienna combines excellent research with the academic diversity of one of Europe’s largest universities.
Here, professors find space for ambitious research and teaching, interdisciplinary exchange and the development of new research approaches.
It is at the points where disciplines meet that new perspectives and insights emerge, benefiting both academia and society.
This can only flourish in a culture of cooperation, openness and fairness. We regard research, teaching, knowledge transfer and commitment to academia as equally valuable contributions to academic excellence.
