SSH Call
At the beginning of 2026, the University of Vienna will open a central call for applications for at least 40 doctoral positions (4 years, 30 hours per week) in the humanities, social sciences, and cultural studies.
This measure is intended to further strengthen the international visibility of the GSK subjects, the quality of the selection process, and the coherence and attractiveness of doctoral training. -
Admission to a Doctoral Programme
To start your PhD at the University of Vienna, you must be enrolled in a doctoral programme. If you apply through one of the listed calls, your admission will be assessed and processed automatically once you receive an offer.
